Incorporating features from Filson's favourite vests of the past three decades, its shell is crafted from durable oil-finish Tin Cloth – a material that has been tried and tested in the forester, hunter, and tradesmen fields for its ability to withstand harsh conditions.
The tightly woven duck canvas creates a nearly impenetrable barrier against thorns, brush, and abrasion, while the heavily waxed finish repels water and mud with ease. For lightweight warmth, the vest is insulated with 60g of PrimaLoft® Gold insulation, designed to mimic the warmth of goose down while remaining functional even when wet. Lined with our signature dry finish Cover Cloth for natural comfort and equipped with a metal front zipper and rib-knit wool blend collar, this hardworking vest also features handwarmer pockets and chest and utility pockets

USAGE Work, Outdoor, Everyday
CARE Do not wash or dry clean – brush or wipe clean with a damp rag. Rewax as needed to maintain maximum water resistance. To prevent the transfer of oils, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact between Filson oil finish goods and light-coloured fabrics, especially in warm weather.
